“If you want to shoot fashion, shoot in color, but if you want to shoot emotion, shoot in black and white.”

Unfortunately I don’t remember who said this, but whoever it was, I have to agree. It seems that emotions cannot be captured the same way with a color photograph. When you compare the same photo, one in black and white and one in color, the black and white portrait will create another atmosphere which the color photograph just cannot reach. However, this was my first portrait shooting ever. We used black & white photography filters and very soft light. Beginning this new journey, I realized that shootings created lots of joy to myself. Sometime after that, I started to shoot with many other great photographers (which you I will talk about in my further blog posts) and began to write this blog, …
